In the most romantic move to date, series 2 winners Cara De La Hodye and Nathan Massey announced they got engaged on a return visit to the actual Love Island villa!
As if there wasn't enough romance going down in the Love Island 2018 villa, series 2 winners Cara De La Hodye and Nathan Massey have announced their engagement, and revealed that Nathan popped the question whilst they returned to this year's villa where it all began.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, the couple recounted the amazing tale of Nathan whisking Cara away on holiday- only to surprise her with a treasure hunt around the Love Island villa, which resulted in him getting down on one knee in the infamous outdoor area.... goals.
Nathan told them: “I brought her back to where we met, and took her on a little treasure hunt around the villa to different places which meant something to us. Finally, I blindfolded her, led her to the pool and got down on one knee.”
Cara said: “It was so romantic that he proposed in the Love Island villa. This is where we met – we’ve come full circle.”
They have been together for two years, with a brief period where they ended things and have a son, Freddie, who was born earlier this year- he is going to look so cute at their wedding!
