Shawn Mendes Thinks His Mum Leaked News About His Secret Journal

Shawn Mendes revealed details about his secret 'Truth Is' journal after he was concerned his mum leaked information about it!

In an interview earlier this year, Shawn Mendes revealed that he keeps a certain journal a fan gave him with him at all times and now he's revealed details about the secret contents of what's inside.

Speaking at a special event called 'An Evening With Shawn' at the GRAMMYs Museum, the 'Lost In Japan' star revealed that he writes his true feelings in his special journal, although it's not confirmed whether it's the exact same journal gifted to him by a fan.

After being quizzed about the secret journal, a shocked Shawn exclaimed, "Wow, how did you know this? Did I say this in an interview?!, before interviewer Scott Goldman, the Grammy Museum's executive director, claimed "I have my sources".

Shawn responded, saying, "Is it my mom? The 'Truth Is' journal...I know what you're talking about. So, I have a journal, and in the journal, I basically go, 'Truth Is...' And I write everything that's true."

“And I think a lot of the times we lie to ourselves about life and how we feel about people or about things, and I go—no matter how crazy or how obscure this thought is - I go, 'The truth is, this is how I feel about this.' and that's what I have and I'll never tell you what's inside. I can't even believe you know that exists. You must've emailed my mom!"

We're not sure whether Shawn's mum Karen Mendes did leak information about his 'Truth Is' journal or not, but one thing we do know is that the fact it even exists is hella cute.
