Mac Miller was left out of the 'In Memoriam' section of the 2018 Emmy Awards and his fans weren't happy about it.
Having tragically passed away aged just 26 years old, Mac Miller's fans expected the rap star to be included in the Emmy Awards' 'In Memoriam' section where stars who have passed away this year are honoured.

However, Mac Miller's name was not included in the tribute and it didn't go unnoticed by fans.
The official reason for Mac Miller's death is still yet to be released, although reports have suggested that he may have died from an overdose.
Mac Miller's ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande was scheduled to attend the Emmy Awards ceremony alongside her fiancé Pete Davidson, but a rep revealed that she wouldn't be making an appearance and needed more time to heal.
In an official statement, Ariana's rep said, “Contrary to reports, Ariana will not be attending the Emmys tonight. Pete has also opted to not attend to be with her in New York. Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend.”
Whilst he was known for his music, Mac Miller also starred in his own MTV reality show 'Mac Miller And The Most Dope Family', which ran for two seasons between 2013-2014.
Following the Emmy Awards 'In Memoriam' snub, Mac Miller's fans took to Twitter to question why the rapper had been left out and share their disappointment.

Did they really just skip Mac miller and not give him a tribute? Yes he was a singer and not an actor but they did a tribute to Aretha Franklin and McCain who was just a politician so...what’s up? #Emmys
