This isn't okay to do to an adult let alone a CHILD.
The Stranger Things kids have achieved a lot in their short careers. They've also dealt with situations that most of us would have had a hard time with at their age.
Stories of wild fans in Hollywood aren't rare, but Noah Schnapp and Gaten Matarazzo might actually take the award for most awkward fan interactions ever.

Gaten telling a story about being licked by a fan and Noah sharing his experience of being followed into the bathroom should make you feel uneasy.
Gaten and Noah seem remarkably calm while telling these stories, but it's hard not to feel bad for them.
While their work does mean that they will encounter some awkward or uncomfortable situations, being licked and followed into the bathroom for pictures is not a part of their job description.
Gaten and Noah didn't specify whether these were younger or older fans, but the gang has had to deal with unruly older fans in the past.
We've heard similar stories from other young Hollywood actors. Riverdale's Madelaine Petsch, for example, once told the story of a fan (aka a complete stranger) who ran toward her at top speed before jumping on top of her.
Obviously, approaching celebrities with respect and acknowledging important boundaries is essential. If you ever see your fave head into the bathroom (especially if your fave is a CHILD), do the cool thing and hang back. Remember, you're not entitled to anyone's time or their body.
You may be a dedicated fan, but these are kids trying their hardest to have relatively normal childhoods.
