Stranger Things 4 shuts down filming over coronavirus

Netflix have shut down production on all shows currently in production in the US and Canada for at least the next two weeks.
Stranger Things has now joined the ranks of all the TV shows and films that have suspended production due to the spread of Coronavirus.
As of right now, Netflix have shut down filming on all their shows currently in production in the US and Canada for at least two weeks "due to government restrictions and health/safety precautions".

Principal filming was scheduled to start on Stranger Things 4 in March but with the production now shut down until further notice, the delay could push the season 4 release date back in to 2021.
As per Deadline's report, the suspension of shows in production outside of North America are being handled on a case by case basis. The Witcher season 2, which is filmed in the UK, has since been shut down.
Last week, it was also announced that Riverdale had suspended production after a team member had come into contact with someone who had tested positive for COVID-19. The cast had just finished episode 19 and were beginning to shoot the final three episodes of season 4.
Shortly after that, multiple studios began suspending production on their shows, including Grey's Anatomy, The Good Fight, Survivor, The Morning Show, all of Disney+'s Marvel series and various late night chat shows. See the full list here.
