8. Where are NewJeans from? Are they Australian?
If you've watched NewJeans interviews, you will have noticed that some of the girls have Aussie accents. The group are based in South Korea but Hanni and Danielle both grew up in Australia and are fluent in English and Korean. Hanni is Vietnamese-Australian and Danielle is Korean-Australian. Meanwhile, Haerin, Minji and Hyein are all from South Korea. They speak Korean fluently and English to varying degrees. [@newjeans_official via Instagram]
