The Hoosiers

It was the first gig ever held in Camden's Gilgamesh, but was it to be a memorable one?

Well, it was a pretty impressive performance! Opening with the fantastic Worst Case Scenario the band immediately lit up the crowd with their fantastic hooks and amazing stage presence. These boys lived up to their renowned showmen status, getting the Capitalive punters involved at every possible opportunity.

After raising the pace even higher with the massive track Killer they transfixed the crowd with the ballad Run Rabbit Run.

Soon enough everyone was clapping their hands together for the fantastic Goodbye Mr A. By this point even our production team were singing along, and when the crowd asked for it, the band delivered. The finger-clicking brilliance of Cops & Robbers which followed soon after was one of the highlights of the evening.

For their encore, the band covered Billy Joel's hit We Didn't Start The Fire. Quite simply put, it was ace! This enjoyable reworking of the 80s hit could only be followed with the one song that the crowd were clamouring for all night - the mesmeric Worried About Ray!
