Skylar Spence, aka Saint Pepsi, has accused Doja Cat and Dr. Luke of copying his song 'Fiona Coyne' with 'Say So'.
Doja Cat and Dr. Luke are being called out for allegedly copying Skylar Spence's song 'Fiona Coyne' with their hit 'Say So'.
Doja Cat is currently riding high on the charts with her new single 'Say So'. After going viral with 'Mooo!' in 2018 and scoring her first Hot 100 hit with 'Juicy' in 2019, the rapper has quickly become one of the most successful stars in music right now. Her songs 'Candy' and 'Say So' have both taken over TikTok and 'Say So' is on track to become her biggest hit to date.

However, Doja Cat's rise to fame hasn't come without controversy. 'Say So' and four other tracks on her second album, Hot Pink, were all produced by Dr. Luke. In October 2014, Dr. Luke came under fire after Kesha filed a series of lawsuits against him, alleging that he had sexually assaulted her. Since then, most major music artists have stopped working with him.
Now, Doja and Dr. Luke are facing backlash after being accused of ripping off another song with 'Say So'.

Yesterday (Feb 26), musician Skylar Spence, aka Saint Pepsi, tweeted: "I love that #DojaCatSaySo is trending... my friends and supporters may be able to get over this and that's fine but this shit fucks me to the core." He then explained: "Dr Luke ripped off my biggest song for Doja Cat's biggest song and did it to the exact point where it would hold up in court."
In fact, fans of Skylar, have been pointing out the similarities for months. One person tweeted: "I can't listen to Doja Cat's 'Say So' with a clear conscience. It really sounds like whoever produced it ripped it from Skylar Spence aka Saint Pepsi's – 'Fiona Coyne'." Another added: "Doja Cat absolutely and wholly plagiarised 'Fiona Coyne' by Skylar Spence."
