There have been fears from Britney's fans that the singer was admitted to a rehab facility against her will.
Britney Spears has addressed the whole #FreeBritney movement in a new Instagram video.

A little background, Britney checked herself into rehab earlier this month after reportedly struggling to deal with the stress caused by her father Jamie Spears' ailing health. However, people have accused her family of holding her there against her will, after her former manager Sam Lutfi made some bold claims that Britney's team are controlling her for "financial gain".
Lutfi was Britney's manager during her breakdown in 2007, which eventually led to her father and lawyer Andrew Wallet (who resigned from his role in March) taking legal responsibility of her career choices and money. Lutfi alleges that something fishy is going on and Britney is strong enough to manage her own life, but her team won't let her.
Lutfi and the Spears family have always had a difficult relationship and at one point Britney's parents even had a restraining order against him. It ended with Lutfi suing them for defamation and they settled out of court in 2016.
In addition to his claims, and a leak of emails in which Britney reportedly says her parents are controlling her, fans began protesting and taking to the streets to demand Britney be released, while the hashtag #FreeBritney began to spread across social media.
As a result, Britney's family have been hit with a massive amount of abuse online from fans who believe the conspiracy.
Britney left the rehab facility on Easter Sunday (April 21) and was pictured being picked up by her boyfriend Sam Asghari. She's now set the record straight saying "all is well" and she'd be back very soon, after having to put her Las Vegas residency on hold.
She captioned the video: "I wanted to say hi, because things that are being said have just gotten out of control!!! Wow!!! There's rumors, death threats to my family and my team, and just so many things crazy things being said.

"I am trying to take a moment for myself, but everything that's happening is just making it harder for me. Don’t believe everything you read and hear.
"These fake emails everywhere were crafted by Sam Lutfi years ago... I did not write them. He was pretending to be me and communicating with my team with a fake email address. My situation is unique, but I promise I’m doing what’s best at this moment.
"You may not know this about me, but I am strong, and stand up for what I want! Your love and dedication is amazing, but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things that life is throwing my way. If you could do that, I would be forever grateful. Love you."
Britney's little sis Jamie Lynn also hit back at the abuse she has received since the #FreeBritney movement started on Twitter.
Don’t come for me or the ones I love anymore. You can move the “blank” outta here with all that, just like this other lady who was running her mouth.👋🏻

"10 years ago, who was there?? I have been here long before anyone else and I'll be here long after," she tweeted. "I love my sister with everything I have. So anyone or anything that speaks to the contrary can GTFOH with all the comments about what you don’t understand."
She added: “Don’t come for me or the ones I love anymore. You can move the ‘blank’ outta here with all that, just like this other lady who was running her mouth."

Surprisingly, the video wasn't enough proof for fans who supported the #FreeBritney movement. Some are now claiming that the rumours are still true and that she was forced to make the video by her team.
Meanwhile, Lutfi called the video "smoke and mirrors", insisting the emails between them were not fake and this was simply a ploy to smear his name.
