It is a universally accepted FACT that the 00s were, hands down, the best decade for pop music.
Just think about all the iconic artists that emerged in this era - Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson and Adele - all made it big in the 00s, while Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake had stunning, career-defining albums in the noughties too.
And what do all of these artists have in common? They all had hits written and produced by with musical mastermind Max Martin. If you don't know who he is, then you should Google him, because he literally wrote all your favourite songs.
His music is now being celebrated in an exciting new West End musical called & Juliet, which re-writes Shakespeare’s classic title Romeo and Juliet so that Juliet’s life doesn’t end with Romeo, and asks, what if Juliet’s famous ending was really just her beginning?
& Juliet asked us to make a quiz celebrating all our favourite 00s music, including a couple of Max Martin bangers that feature in the show, and, honestly, who were we to refuse?
