The 'How We Do (Party)' singer says she and the 'We Found Love' star see each other as part of the Roc Nation family.
Rita Ora has described Rihanna as "part of the family" and says there is no rivalry between the two female artists just "good vibes".
The 'R.I.P.' singer-songwriter was pictured out with Rihanna earlier this month (19th May) in London at a birthday party for Jay-Z's manager Ty Ty, and Rita says the two have met several times and become friends.
"The funny thing is I've met her a few times, that's not the first time I've met her," Rita revealed exclusively to Capital FM yesterday (28th May). "It's just one of those things where I almost told everyone, you known, there's nothing going on."
Rita added: "She's part of the family, she has always been, and it's all good vibes."
The 'How We Do (Party)' singer was signed by Jay-Z to his Roc Nation label back in 2009 and is currently preparing her debut studio album, while Rihanna is also managed by the '99 Problems' rapper's management label.
'Watch The Throne' rapper Jay-Z has previously described Rita has having "infectious energy" and discussed her huge potential in the music industry.
Rita served as a guest judge on The X Factor UK this week when she joined judges Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh at London's O2 Arena yesterday for the show's live auditions.
Rita Ora has also been confirmed for Capital FM's Summertime Ball 2012 line-up where she will join the likes of Katy Perry, Usher and The Wanted on stage at Wembley Stadium on 9th June.
