The 'Radioactive' singer says she has gone back to some of her early influences for her second studio outing.
Rita Ora says she has gone "back to basics" for a second album and is treating it like her first record all over again.
The 'R.I.P.' singer says she has been going back to her early influences including artists like Prince and Chaka Khan for the follow-up to 2012's 'ORA'.
"For me, this is more than a second album it's like my first album for you guys and for the rest of the world," Rita revealed to Bloomingdales this week. "I really wanted to make a lot of effort on this record.
"I've grown and I've listened to music that people have released recently," she explained. "[I have] gone back to basics with my love for prince and Chaka Khan.
"It's just me finding that balance," she added.
Rita Ora is widely expected to announce her second studio album before the end of 2013.
