Little Mix' New Single 'Wings' Joins Capital FM Playlist (19th June)

The X Factor UK winners' new single will be hitting the Capital FM airwaves from this week.

Little Mix's new single 'Wings' joins the Capital FM playlist this week ahead of it's highly anticipated release next month.

The X Factor 2011 winners are set to follow-up on the huge success of their winners' single 'Cannonball', a cover of Damien Rice's acoustic hit, with their first release since winning the ITV1 show in December last year.

Perrie, Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Jade announced the name of their single back in May shortly before debuting a song lyric music video for 'Wings' to tease the single's launch.

The four-piece girl band say 'Wings' was inspired by the music of legendary artists like Beyonce and Michael Jackson.

Little Mix are set to join JLS on their summer city tour next month with a six-date jaunt across some of the country's biggest open-air venues starting on 19th August.

'Wings' joins the current Capital FM playlist, which also boasts hits from the likes of Chris Brown, Calvin Harris, Lawson, will.i.am and Conor Maynard.
