In a recent interview the ladies revealed all about what their fans could expect from their upcoming record – and it looks like a certain Mr Zayn Malik might get a thinly veiled mention.
When the girls revealed the record will be about their love lives, they were asked who specifically would be the subject of the songs, to which Jesy Nelson blurted out, “I think it’s pretty obvious”. Interesting…
She added, “I think it’s always easier to write about your experiences through music because more people can relate to them anyway.
“It is a lot more mature, this album. There’s a lot of things that have been said that perhaps nobody has heard yet, if you know what I mean."
Jade Thirlwall explained that despite the break up songs, the album is going to be positive, “We’re going through different things. Some of us have gone through heartbreak while others of us have found love. I think it’s a very positive album.”
