The 'Diamonds' singer says she fell more in love with her hair the shorter she cut it.
Rihanna has revealed she felt her longer hair was holding her back and loves her new shorter hair do.
The 'You Da One' singer opened up about the decision to cut off her long hair over the summer in a new behind the scenes video for her November Vogue US cover shoot.
"I love cutting my hair," Rihanna explains in the newly unveiled clip. "The shorter it got, the more I was falling in love with it!
"I felt like the long hair was holding me back a little," the 'We Found Love' star went on to say. "I mean I loved it, but it was always a 'thing' I had to think about.
"I had to make sure it was done. [The new hair] felt brand new," Rihanna added.

Rihanna unveiled her second cover for Vogue US earlier today (15th October), in which she opens up about her brand new album and rumours of a new romance on the cards.
Today also saw the Bajan pop star upload a song lyric music video for her recent single 'Diamonds', ahead of the music video's official premiere.
Rihanna will release her seventh studio album 'Unapologetic' on 19th November.
