The singer chats to Capital FM about his brand new single as he plays the iTunes Festival in London.
Olly Murs has said he will reveal the first song from his new album within the next four weeks.
The 'Heart Skips A Beat' singer has been working on the follow-up to 2011's 'In Case You Didn't Know' throughout 2012 while simultaneously enjoying success in the US with his second album.
Speaking to Capital FM ahead of his performance at the iTunes Festival in London last night (3rd September), Olly said he was "very excited" about his new music.
Asked when fans would hear the new single, Olly replied: "Very soon. Probably about three or four weeks away from people hearing my first single from my new album.
"I'm very excited about it. It's a really cool new direction, but in a good way."
He added: "It's a really good pop record – I'm excited about it so fingers crossed people like it."
As well as 'Heart Skips A Beat', Olly's second album 'In Case You Didn't Know' also contained the hit 'Dance With Me Tonight'.
Olly performed songs from the album during his performance at the iTunes Festival last night, which followed appearances from Ed Sheeran and Usher.
