The 'Lego House' singer thanked Capital FM and Wretch 32 following set at London's O2 Arena.

Ed Sheeran described his performance at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball last night (4th December) as "sick".

The 'A Team' singer took to the stage for his debut solo performance at the event following a duet of 'Hush Little baby' during Wretch 32's set.

After the event, Ed logged onto his Twitter account and said: "Capital jingle bell ball was sick. Now off home."

He also gave a few words of thanks to the team at Capital FM and his Jingle Bell Ball collaborator before heading to bed.

"@Wretch32 pleasure to share the stage man," he tweeted to Wretch before showing his appreciation to the Capital team: "@CapitalOfficial love you lot!"

Ed finished his night in true rock 'n' roll style with a helping of real comfort food.

"Bit of a shepherds pie before bed," he tweeted.

The 'Lego House' singer performed a medley of his biggest hits including 'You Need Me, I Don't Love You' and a cover of Adele's version of the Bob Dylan song 'Make You Feel My Love'.
