Ariana 'confirmed' the new album's release date on Twitter.
Another day, another slay for Ariana Grande. The 25-year-old may have only returned to music last April but since then she's released a slew of hit singles ('no tears left to cry', 'breathin' etc.), topped charts worldwide with her fourth album Sweetener (what an LP) and broken huge Spotify records ('thank u, next' and '7 rings' are both streaming phenomenons). And now she is already releasing another record.

After surprise releasing 'thank u, next' at the end of last year, Ariana teased that she had essentially finished work on her fifth studio album thank u, next and that she was planning to release it ASAP. Since then, she's not only put out 'imagine' (a new promo track for the album) but followed it up with '7 rings' and now she's revealed that the highly anticipated LP is coming in mere weeks times.
Taking to Twitter last night, Ariana answered a slew of fan questions about thank u, next and in and among them she actually confirmed when the album is dropping. First she confirmed that we are getting he "cover, track list, preorder friday" and then she said "hbd" to a fan saying "hopefully it releases feb so its the best birthday gift". Incredible scenes.
Better yet though when an Arianator replied "is it feb the 8th !!!!!!!! that’s my 21st sis", Ari confirmed the date by writing "how convenient". Iconic. In other words, we are getting an Ariana album on Feb 8th which is in just over two weeks time. Ari also revealed that '7 rings' will be the last single before the album and there will be no features. I'm ready.
She ended her spree saying: "two albums in six months huh. that’s deep. love u. talk sooon."
