Mac Miller's Friend Gives Ariana Grande Credit For Making Sure He Was Sober

Mac Miller's friend, Shane Powers, spoke on a podcast praising Ariana Grande for her efforts to keep the rapper healthy.
"They were very much in love and I have to say, she was incredible when he was first sobering up," said Shane.
"She was a f***ing G to him. There could not have been anybody more supportive of him being sober than Ariana," continued Mac's friend.
He went on to say that the 'breathin' singer would often call Mac Miller asking "How do I help?" and "What do I do?"
You can listen to the podcast here, around 49:00 Shane mentions Mac being in a good place, which honestly makes things even more sad in my opinion :( https://t.co/7TJAS7S2bI— t 💯 (@talktomebabies) September 11, 2018
Shane also said "There was no-one in his life more ready to go to the wall for him when it came to him being sober".
A day after Mac Miller's death, Ariana Grande was forced to disable commenting on her Instagram account, as she was receiving hateful messages. Mac's friend, Shane, told the trolls to leave Ariana alone, as Mac would "be furious with ANYONE who made any shitty comment to her."
Ariana Grande didn’t kill Mac. Mac killed Mac. Leave her alone. He’d be furious with ANYONE who made any shitty comment to her.— Shane Powers (@Theshanepowers) September 8, 2018
I’d fuckin know.
Leave her alone.
