According to a show source who spoke to Metro, "Joe has done extremely well for himself on YouTube and after a lot of negotiation he’s agreed to give Strictly a go. He thinks this will be a good launch pad to go,"
Joe Sugg's sister Zoella and her YouTuber boyfriend Alfie Deyes have a total of 16 million subscribers between them on the video sharing platform, whilst Joe's BFF is another vlogger Caspar Lee, who boasts 7.5 million subscribers himself.
According to the show insider, "Zoe, Alfie and the rest of his YouTube friends are going to be there supporting him in the audience every week – even if he’s not the best dancer his fanbase is a force to be reckoned with."
Joe has remained tight-lipped on a possible appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, but there have been plenty of other stars rumoured to be taking part this year too, including Cheryl, Steps star Faye Tozer and Blue's Lee Ryan.
