The 'We Found Love' singer can be seen cringing in pain as she covers her hand in the new design.
Rihanna can be seen getting a traditional New Zealand Maori tattoo on her hand in a new video posted online.
The footage was captured by musician Tiki Taane and shows Inia Taylor from Moko Ink giving the 'You Da One' star her latest inking.
The primitive tattoo consists uses a chisel and mallet to lightly tap the skin before ink is poured into the open wound.
It all took place as Rihanna brought her 'Diamonds' world tour across to New Zealand.

Meanwhile, the Bajan beauty recently unveiled the official music video for her latest single 'Pour It Up'.
The track is taken from her seventh studio album 'Unapologetic'.
