The 'One Thing' singers are back in the US preparing for their VMAs debut.
One Direction have flown out to Los Angeles to rehearse for their upcoming performance at the MTV Video Music Awards 2012 this week.
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' stars are set to perform live at the event, which takes place this Thursday, where they have also been nominated for both Best New Artist and Best Pop Video.
Earlier today (4th September) the band's management confirmed Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson are out in California now preparing for their highly anticipated performance.
"The boys are in LA right now rehearsing for the VMAs!" One Direction posted on their official Twitter today. "Who's excited about their performance on Thursday?"
The 'Gotta Be You' singers have also been tweeting this week urging fans to help them picked up an award at the annual MTV ceremony, as well as admitting they can't wait for their performance.
"You guys are amazing voting for the VMAs!" Harry tweeted yesterday (3rd September), while Liam posted: "Helloo really excited for the vmas!"
Last week One Direction announced that their second studio album is called 'Take Me Home' and treated fans to the album's official artwork.
The 'One Thing' singers' sophomore record is available to preorder now in several additions, and precedes their new single 'Live While We're Young' which is out on 30th September.

The MTV Video Music Awards will also feature performances from Pink and Rihanna, while the likes of The Wanted, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj are all up for awards.
The MTV Video Music Awards 2012 are set to air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles this Thursday 6th September.
