One Direction’s ‘Fireproof’ Breaks World Record For Most Downloaded Song In 24hrs!

One Direction just can’t stop breaking records – ‘Fireproof’ smashes the record for most downloads in 24hrs.

If there is a record One Direction can’t break it’s probably not worth having!

Hot on the heels of their Guinness World Record, the 1D boys have smashed yet another record for the most downloaded single within 24hrs.

One Direction announced their new album ‘Four’ by releasing a free track for the fans. ‘Fireproof’ was subsequently downloaded 1,089,278 times by fans making it the most downloaded in history!

The free download was limited to just 24 hours – and you #Directioners definitely made the most of it!

And despite having only just announced the next album on Monday, it shot to number one on the iTunes album chart in 67 countries just on preorders!

And if this album is anything like ‘Midnight Memories’ which topped the album charts in 39 countries and became the top selling album of 2013, it’s definitely going to be another record breaker!

‘Four’ will be released on 17th November.
