The ITV show's host gives an update on the judging panel line-up as well as Olly's Xtra Factor exit.

The X Factor UK host Dermot O'Leary has admitted he will "miss" Olly Murs on The Xtra Factor this year and has announced that that no judges have been confirmed to return to the show as yet.

It had widely been reported that 2012 panelists Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger would all be back on the show for this year's series, with only 'Young' singer Tulisa Contostavlos' panel seat said to be in doubt.

However, fresh comments from the ITV host suggest everything is still up in the air, while he also confirmed the news that Olly will not be back to co-host The Xtra Factor for a third year running.

"No one has been confirmed," Dermot revealed in an interview with ITN this past week, when asked about the judging panel line-up.

"Well I will miss Olly," the host admitted. "Because he's like a little brother to me, but I'm so glad for him, because he loves doing this and the only reason he wouldn't do this is because he's so busy."

Olly recently spoke out about his decision not to return to the show in order to focus on launching his music career in America, and said he was "gutted" to be leaving co-host Caroline Flack to present with a new partner.

In March it was reported that former The X Factor UK judge Sharon Osbourne was in "pole position" to make a shocking return to the show in place of Tulisa Contostavlos, although the latter has constantly denied claims she is set to be axed from the panel.

The X Factor UK is set to announce an official judging panel later this year for a launch in the summer.
