The 'Starships' singer says she hadn't realised quitting Twitter would be such a big deal for all her fans.
Nicki Minaj has revealed that her 'Barbz' bought her back to Twitter after she realised how important it was for her fans to feel like they connect with her.
The 'Super Bass' rapper quit the popular social networking website last month, despite having over 12 million followers, but returned to Twitter one week later after saying she had needed to take a break.
"I don't know. A voice said delete, I don't know why I did it," Nicki told chat show host Ellen DeGeneres yesterday morning (10th May). "But I came back [to Twitter] because then I went to London and my Barbz were crying.
"We did a signing and they were like, 'That's the only way we feel connected to you'," the 'Beez In The Trap' rapper explained. "I felt bad. I didn't know it was that big of a deal."
During her interview on popular chat show Ellen, which also saw the singer perform her hits 'Right By My Side' and 'Starships', Nicki also admitted that having a family of her own is something she is looking forward to in a few years time.
When asked where she sees herself in five years time Nicki replied: "Maybe I'll be having a baby!"
Nicki Minaj is set to embark on a 14-date tour across North America as the first leg of her new 'Pink Friday' world tour.
