The rapper appears to endorse presidential hopeful Mitt Romney in new song from Lil' Wayne's mixtape.
Nicki Minaj has apparently pledged her support for the Republican party in a new song.
The track, 'Mercy', features on Lil' Wayne's new mixtape 'Dediation 4' and sees the rapper say that she plans to vote for Mitt Romney in the upcoming US presidential elections.
In the song, Nicki raps: "I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney/You lazy b***hes is f**king up the economy."
But it is not clear whether Nicki is being sarcastic – the rapper has previously Tweeted her support for current president Barack Obama's much-debated healthcare bill.
Nicki has yet to take to Twitter to clarify her current political stance.
The rapper is currently busy promoting her second album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' and is scheduled to arrive in the UK on tour in the coming weeks.
Nicki recently paid tribute to music manager Chris Lighty, who died last week.
