The 'Candle In The Wind' singer says he can't believe how hard the 'You & I' star works for her music.
Elton John says Lady Gaga works "really hard" and admits he doesn't know how she manages to do everything she does.
The 'Marry The Night' singer is currently on her mammoth 'Born This Way Ball' world tour, as well as working on her third studio album, and Elton says he worries that she works too hard.
"I look at Gaga and I think, 'How does she do it?'" Elton told the Guardian this week. "i talk to her mum and dad about it. They worry.
"She is fail, and she doesn't eat when she should do, and she's a girl, and it's tougher for a girl," the 'I'm Still Standing' singer explained. "She works really hard. She will be in Denmark one night and Saudi Arabia the next. I know how tiny she is and I do worry about her, yes."
The 'Crocodile Rock' singer has a close relationship with the 'Marry The Night' singer, having performed with her at the 2010 Grammy Awards as well as making her godmother to his son Zachary last year.
Earlier this week Gaga's co-manager Vincent Herbert confirmed the 'You & I' singer is working on material for her next record, and promises it will be "insane" and for fans to expect "the unexpected".
Lady Gaga is set to continue her 'Born This Way Ball' world tour with a performance in Auckland, New Zealand on 7th June.
