The 'Believe' star has tweeted thanks for his inclusion as an avatar in the new basketball videogame.
Justin Bieber has thanked video game publisher 2K Games for including him as a celebrity player in their upcoming basketball game NBA 2K13.
The 'Boyfriend' singer posted a thank you message to the popular developers on Twitter this week, alongside a screenshot of his inclusion as a playable avatar in some of the game's many basketball modes.
"Shoutout to @Ronnie2K for putting #TeamBieber in #NBA2K13. Im running the pt. #SWAGGY," Justin tweeted with a picture of him as a player.
NBA 2K13 includes players from across the NBA and is expected to feature a special celebrity team boasting the likes of Sean Kingston, rapper Bow Wow and several members of the Jersey Shore cast.

Last month the 'As Long As You Love Me' singer was named the most powerful music star under 21 by Billboard, beating out UK boy band One Direction for the title.
Justin Bieber kicked off his 'Believe' world tour over the weekend and will perform tonight (2nd October) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles before bringing the tour over to the UK in early 2013.
NBA 2K13 is set to be released across all major videogame formats this week.
