The 'As Long As You Love Me' singer has become the most powerful individual on the social networking site.
Justin Bieber has finally overtaken Lady Gaga as the most followed person on Twitter.
The 'Boyfriend' singer has been second to the female star for over two years after the 'Bad Romance' singer took over from Britney Spears, but surpassed Gaga last night (21st January).
The Canadian star is now just over two thousand fans ahead of the 'You & I' singer at 33,322,000 followers.
Lady Gaga became the first person to reach the 30 million milestone on the social networking site back in October 2012.
Justin saw a recent spike in his followers when he uploaded a cheeky snap to his site, which showed him baring his bum to camera before quickly deleting the post.
The teen star has most recently been teasing details from the release of his forthcoming new acoustic album on his Twitter account.
The record is rumoured to feature a collaboration with Ed Sheeran and will include two new tracks as well as laid-back renditions of some of his biggest 'Believe' hits.
