The 'Somebody To Love' star's new album sets a new record for 2012 surpassing Madonna's 'MDNA' sales.
Justin Bieber's new album 'Believe' has been announced as the new number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
The 'Boyfriend' star's record shifted 374,000 copies, according Nielsen SoundScan, in the first week to claim the biggest debut of 2012.
The album surpassed the previous best record for the year which was Madonna's 'MDNA' with 359,000 records sold.
The last record to gather extensive sales in a debut was his fellow Canadian star Drake back in late 2011 after 'Take Care' sold 631,000.
The year's best weekly sales are still held by Adele after her '21' album notched up impressive sales of 730,000 in the week of her Grammy Awards triumph.

Meanwhile, the 'Never Say Never' singer has confirmed that he will be releasing his dubstep track 'As Long As You Love Me' as the next official single from the record.
