The 'All Around The World' singer says his mother is like a friend to him.
Justin Bieber has said he believes he was "an accident", but admitted he enjoys having a younger mother.
The 'Boyfriend' star's mum Pattie Mallette was 18 when she gave birth to the singer – the same age that he is now.
Speaking about his relationship with his mother during a radio appearance in Australia, Justin said: "She's amazing... I was definitely an accident.
"It's great my mom is super young, she's a friend and a mom, she’s always been really strict, she’s still keeps me in line."
Justin is currently on a busy promotional tour in Australia in support of his new album 'Believe' and was mobbed by fans when he left a TV studio yesterday (17th July).

His visit, which also includes a trip to New Zealand, is expected to be his final stop promoting the album before he launches his latest world tour in September.
The star kicks off his live tour in America before playing a UK tour next year.
The tour will kick off at the Manchester Arena on 21st February and also see the singer travel to Liverpool, Birmingham and Nottingham.
