The event has issued an email telling female stars to cover up as they head to the music industry event this weekend.
Female stars such as Beyonce, Rihanna and Taylor Swift are among those who will be forced to cover up at this weekend's Grammy Awards following an email from show executives at CBS.
The channel has warned musicians to avoid see-through tops and wearing any outfits which could leave them exposed to wardrobe malfunctions on the night.
"Thong type costumes are problematic," read the email, which was obtained by Deadline. "Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack.
"Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic."
The report continued: "Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples. Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered."
The strict guidelines have been put in place to avoid the channel breaking broadcasting regulations for Sunday night's show.
Mumford & Sons and Fun. are among the top nominated stars at the show, with Ed Sheeran, Justin Timberlake and Rihanna also among the top performers on the line-up.
The Grammy Awards 2013 take place live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on 10th February.
