Can you rent The Holiday cottage?
So, we have some good and some bad news...
According to House & Garden, the actual cottage in the film, called Rosehill Cottage, doesn't actually exist.
Sorry to be the bearers of bad news!
The publication says the exteriors of the quaint home were built from scratch in a field and the interiors are film sets, so the magic of movies goes!
However, the film's creators did have a specific place in mind when recreating the set, with Honeysuckle Cottage in Holmbury St Mary provided inspiration for the crew who designed it.
The cottage in question was also recently sold, so whether or not the owners want to let it out to avid fans of the film will remain to be seen!
The director of the classic film, Nancy Meyers, understands just how much people love her film and loves to post adorable behind-the-scenes shots from filming when it comes around to Christmas.
So, you may not be able to stay in the iconic, but fictional, cottage- but her pics will definitely keep you satisfied whilst you Google the best alternative cottages to rent!
Failing that- we can recommend turning off the heating, wrapping up in your cutest winters warms and wait for Jude Law to come knocking at a late hour!
Hey, we can dream.
