The PJ and Duncan track finally makes it to the top of the charts 17 years after it was originally released.

Ant and Dec's PJ and Duncan single 'Let's Get Ready To Rhumble' is the new Vodafone Big Top 40 number one.

The track was originally released 17 years ago, but a performance of the song on the duo's hit show Saturday Night Takeaway saw it climb to the top of the charts for the first time.

The song was released under their moniker from 90s show Byker Grove and was one of a 14 tracks released before they entered the world of presenting.

Ant this week also revealed how their performance of the track was actually the result of being short an item for their show.

"We thought, well, we could possibly dust off the old baseball caps, and give it a go, for a laugh," he said.

The song fought off strong competition from this week's highest new entry Duke Dumont with 'Need You'.

Justin Timberlake's 'Mirrors', The Saturdays' 'What About Us' and Nelly with 'Hey Porsche' also featured in the top ten.

Meanwhile, Ant and Dec recently told Capital how there are no plans for a follow up single to 'Let's Get Ready To Rhumble'.
