The '22' singer is honoured by her country music peers during a touching moment at the awards show.
Taylor Swift broke down in tears last night (6th November) while accepting the prestigious Pinnacle Award at the CMA Awards 2013.
The 'Red' singer picked up three awards in total at the country music awards showcase, and was presented the Pinnacle Award by a line-up of huge country artists she has toured with in the past, including Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Faith Hill.
"We've all seen her grow up into a beautiful woman and a truly global superstar," Tim said as part of the Pinnacle Award announcement, as Taylor and her family looked teary-eyed in the audience. "That's why tonight the CMA has decided the time has come to present Taylor with the CMA Pinnacle Award, recognising her ground-breaking place in music history and her positive impact in the appreciation of country music worldwide."

The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer was then honoured with a video vignette before taking to the stage to hug all of the presenters and made an impassioned speech to her fans.
"You know, they told me that this was going to happen but I didn't know there was going to be all this!" Taylor said to begin her acceptance speech. "My parents are not just crying they're actually bawling at this point.
"To the CMA, to whom ever made this choice, you're not only rewarding my hard work and exhaustion you're rewarding my family and my label and anyone who works with me and most of all the fans who fill stadiums, I love you," she added. "On behalf of all of those people, thank you. I love you. You've made me feel so special right now."
