The likes of Madonna, Pharrell Williams and Katy Perry were also present at the red carpet event this week.
Taylor Swift and Beyonce were just some of the stars who turned heads with their take on punk at the Met Gala ball in New York City last night (6th May).
The likes of Katy Perry, Rita Ora and even Madonna were among other members of pop royalty who took to the red carpet to celibate the launch of the Met Costume Institute's Gala for their new Punk: Chaos To Couture exhibition.
'22' singer Taylor opted to dress in-theme with a sleeveless black J. Mendel gown, featuring sheer panelling at the sides to show off her hips, which she paired with dark eye make-up and black nail polish.
'Love On Top' singer Beyonce also attended the event fresh from the UK leg of her 'The Mrs. Carter Show' world tour last week, after being named an honorary chairperson for this year's exhibition.
Beyonce opted for a baroque patterned Givenchy gown, which she paired up with thigh-high boots and gloves while posing for snaps on the red carpet in the Big Apple on Monday.
