Rihanna Poses As Greek Monster Medusa For New GQ Issue

The 'We Found Love' singer goes topless and covered in snakes for the publication's 25th anniversary issue.

Rihanna echoes the ancient Greek monster Medusa in a risqué new photo shoot for GQ magazine.

The 'Diamonds' singer poses topless on the cover of the magazine's December issue while wearing a crowd of snakes and a large python around her neck.

Rihanna features as the cover star for the publication's latest issue, which marks GQ's 25th anniversary, in a shoot directed by iconic artists Damien Hirst.

The Bajan star poses in the style of Greek gorgon Medusa with slit-like eyes and snakes as her hair for the shoot, and tweeted fans after to say howm much fun she had working on the project.

"Medusa head on me like I'm 'luminati!!!! She. x Damien Hirst #GQ#25thAnniversary#COVER," Rihanna tweeted. "Love playing with dominant animals! These 2 were double the trouble, but they're superstars!!!"

Rihanna brings her 'Diamonds' tour to a close with a show in New Orleans on 15th November.
