Rihanna Launches Her River Island Fashion Collection At London Fashion Week 2013

The 'Diamonds' singer launched her collection in person this weekend in the UK capital.

Rihanna launched her first ever fashion collection at London Fashion Week last night (16th February), giving fans their first glimpse at the Bajan pop star's clothing designs.

The 'We Found Love' has teamed up with River Island to launch her first fashion collection, and flew in to London on Saturday to make sure she was there in person for the collection's catwalk debut.

Rihanna For River Island featured a huge range of looks including floral shorts, denim shirts, cropped tops, patterned trousers and smart slip dresses, as the models walked the catwalk at The Sorting Office in London to a soundtrack of both Rihanna hits and nineties classics.

At the end of the show Rihanna herself took to the stage in a little black dresses from the collection to give a coy bow and smile to the audience, while backed by her costume designer Adam Selman.

Among those in attendance to see Rihanna's fashion debut in person were the likes of girl band star Mollie King from The Saturdays and Rita Ora's best friend and fashion model Cara Delevingne, who was later spotted out partying with the 'Diamonds' singer'.

The Bajan pop star has had a busy week after performing twice at the Grammy Awards 2013 last weekend (10th February) when she sang both 'Stay' with Mikky Ekko, and a Bob Marley tribute with Sting and Bruno Mars.

Rihanna For River Island will officially launch in stores across the UK from 5th March.
