The 'You Da One' star admits she wants people to "trust" her designs as she discusses plans for her collection.
Rihanna has confirmed she is currently working on her own fashion line.
The 'We Found Love' star told the Hollywood Reporter on the red carpet of the Met Gala on Monday night (7th May) that the collection will reflect her "personal style".
"I'm doing my own collection," she admitted. "I'm working on it - it will reflect my personal style."
The star also opened up on her fashion plans to The New York Post and revealed that she will be wanting people to "trust" her designs and is working with people she has a great deal of respect for.
She confessed: "I'm really pursuing a fashion line of my own. I want to design. This is also a road that I want to earn it. So I'm working with designers that I respect, and companies that I respect. I want people to really trust me before I just say, 'Buy it, because it's mine.'"
The singer has already teamed with Emporio Armani on two collections and spoke to Ryan Seacrest back in March about her desire to make her own line.
Meanwhile, the Bajan star is also in the sights for British boyband the Wanted who told Capital that a duet between the artists is something they are hoping for.
