The 'Talk That Talk' singer says she is hoping to design her own fashion collection later this year.
Rihanna has revealed plans to launch her own fashion line in the near future, after wrapping her current collaboration with high-end brand Emporio Armani.
The 'You Da One' singer launched an underwear and jeans line in collaboration with the company back in autumn 2011, and is preparing launch a second collection with them for spring, but says she has always wanted to design her own range of clothing.
"We've done the fall collection already and it was very, very successful and now the spring collection is about to drop," Rihanna told Ryan Seacrest this week. "After that I’m really pursuing a fashion line of my own. I want to design.
"This is also a road that I want to earn it," the 'We Found Love' singer explained. "So I'm working with designers. Designers that I respect, and companies that I respect."
She added: "I want people to really trust me before I just say, 'Buy it because it's mine."
During the same interview Rihanna confirmed that she is planning to record a collaboration with close friend Katy Perry sometime soon.
