Capital FM fans have been expressing their excitement after it was announced that Rihanna will headline the opening day of this year's Jingle Bell Ball in London.
The 'Loud' star was confirmed for the event during Capital Breakfast this morning (31st October).
She will join Calvin Harris, The Wanted, Olly Murs, Pixie Lott, Jason Derulo and Labrinth at day one of the Ball, which takes place at the O2 Arena over the weekend of the 3rd and 4th December.
Fans have been reacting to the news that Rihanna will appear on Capital FM's Twitter and Facebook pages.
On Twitter, RiRi_Rebelle wrote: "Omg it's the only reason I'm going I'm so so so so excitedddd."
Jonathan Pitman said: "@rihanna at the @CapitalOfficial #JBB?! Don't think I could have had better news today!!"
On Facebook, Danny McMullen wrote: "Rihanna rihanna rihanna. ALL THE TIME."
Meanwhile, Prettiedove said on Twitter that she wanted to move to the UK because Rihanna has been playing so many dates in the country recently.
"I need to move to the UK, ya'all having so much of Rihanna. I'm jelly," she wrote.
Tickets for the 2011 Jingle Bell Ball with Windows 7 went on general sale at 8am.
