The 'Talk That Talk' singer says she was too shy to even look at the Taken actor on set.
Rihanna has revealed she was "star-struck" the first time she met veteran actor Liam Neeson on the set of her new film Battleship.
The 'We Found Love' singer stars opposite the likes of Taken star Liam, True Blood actor Alexander Skarsgaard and John Carter lead Taylor Kitsch in the sci-fi epic, which casts Rihanna as a "badass" Navy weapons officer called Raikes.
"I fell in love with him when I watched Taken and I was so star-struck, I couldn't even look at him on set," Rihanna said during an interview in the April issue of Company magazine.
"I just had to shut down completely," she explained. "Then he asked me for a picture with him to send to his son and I was like, 'Send me this picture, I want it too!"
The 'You Da One' star recently told Capital FM she can't wait for her fans to go and see the Peter Berg-directed film, loosely based on the original children's board game.
Battleship was officially launched in cinemas across the UK today (11th April).
