The 'One Thing' stars admit they would love to team up with the Take That star after he admitted to being jealous of the group.
One Direction have confessed that they want Robbie Williams to join the band after the 'Candy' singer admitted to being jealous of the group this week.
Speaking to Capital FM following their performance at the iTunes Festival 2012 last night (20th September) they revealed how "amazing" the compliment from the Take That star was.
"That is amazing," confessed singer Liam Payne. "We are actually massive fans of Robbie Williams. And after singing on the show with him and stuff.
"He can join us anytime," declared Louis Tomlinson. "[The] invitation is there."
This prompted Harry Styles to reference the fact the 38 year-old has just welcomed his new baby Theodora to the family this week.
"They've just had a baby though," he said, with Liam adding: "They can join too."
Zayn Malik then admitted: "He can join whenever he wants – he knows that. It's cool."
