The 'Gotta Be You' stars begin their tour of America today in Connecticut.
One Direction's Niall Horan says he and the rest of the band can't wait to kick off their first headline tour of the US later today (22nd May).
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singers are due to begin their new North American tour this week after flying out to the US over the weekend ready for the countrywide jaunt.
"Just did a rehearsal for the 1st show tomorrow!" Niall tweeted last night (21st May). "Our first headline tour in the US cannot believe this, so excited."
The 'One Thing' singers arrived back in the UK last week for a brief stay after a trip to Sweden to work on their upcoming second studio album, the follow-up to their 2011 debut record 'Up All Night'.
Liam, Harry, Niall, Zayn and Louis have also been confirmed as one of the headline acts for this year's iTunes Festival in September, alongside acts like Usher and Emeli Sande.
One Direction's headlining US tour kicks off with a show at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut tonight, before headlong on to shows in Virginia, New Jersey and New York over the course of this week.
