The 'Kiss You' four-piece's new single has been described as incredibly catchy.
One Direction have opted for a more "mature" and "rocky" sound for their brand new single 'Best Song Ever', according to songwriter Ed Drewett.
The 'Live While We're Young' singers announced the name of their new single last month for release in July, and now co-writer Ed has given fans their first teaser about the new track.
"We knew we'd got something good," Ed told the Daily Star, of the day he and the One Direction boys wrote the song. "My instinct was that they would want to have something a little more mature in their writing.
"As a songwriter for other people you have to grow with them and think, 'What part of their lives and careers are they at now?'" the singer explained. "It's a little more rocky but still catchy as f**k. It's a fun little tune.
"We did another couple of days writing with Louis and Liam and that was great,' Ed added. "They loved the studio environment and getting involved. They have a real passion for music."
