The 'One Thing' stars also received messages from the likes of Conor Maynard and Pixie Lott after winning three awards.
Little Mix and Olly Murs have led the messages of congratulations to One Direction after their triple victory at the MTV Video Music Awards 2012 (VMAs) last night (6th September).
The UK boy band picked up Best New Act, Best Pop Video and Most Shareworthy Video for their debut single 'What Makes You Beautiful', as well as performing their single 'One Thing' live on stage in Los Angeles for the star-studded event.
After their victory Harry, Zayn, Liam, Louis and Niall received several messages from their pop friends back home, including Pixie Lott, Marcus Collins and Conor Maynard.
"Massive congratulations to the @onedirection boys! We know how hard you guys work, and you deserve every bit of success! ;) #3VMAs!," Little Mix tweeted today (7th September), while Olly Murs posted: "WELL DONE @onedirection on winning 3 VMA Awards! Awesome fells & seeing Rihanna & Katy Perry singing along to 'One Thing' #ohmydays.
"Woahhhh!!! Big congratulations to @onedirection for the success at the VMAs yesterday!" Conor Maynard posted. "3!!! Doing big things for UK music guys, amazing x."
The X Factor 2011 star Marcus Collins tweeted congratulations to the boys, while 'All About Tonight' singer Pixie Lott also sent a message to recognise the achievement.
One Direction also send several messages thanking fans for helping them pick up three awards during their first year at the VMAs.
"Wow can't believe we won three awards! I said it on stage but I'll say it again! The awards are because of you guys, thank you everyone!" Louis Tomlinson tweeted, while Harry Styles simply posed: "We owe you everything. Thank you so much for this. Three VMAs. YEAH!! xx."
One Direction recently announced plans to launch their brand new album 'Take Me Home' this November.
