You voted in your thousands after we asked our followers on Twitter and Facebook to name the song that had done it for them this year – and its time to reveal the results.
One Direction's single 'What Makes You Beautiful', which was the first single off their debut album 'Up All Night', was hugely popular with our listeners.
Other artists who feature in the top ten included LMFAO's 'Party Rock Anthem' and 'Someone Like You' by Adele.
