The 'Troublemaker' singer speaks ahead of his support slots with fellow Summertime Ball performer Robbie Williams.
Olly Murs has said heading out on the road with Robbie Williams for his forthcoming 'Take The Crown' tour has given him the desire to headline stadium shows himself in the future.
The outing kicks off on 14th June – just days after both stars perform at Capital FM's Summertime Ball 2013.
"You can never preapre for a stadium show because it's so massive," the Essex-born star told Digital Spy. "We went on tour in the US and I've just finished my own arena tour, so me and the band are really in tip-top condition.
"I'm not too worried about it actually. I'm more excited than anything. I'm hoping to catch up with Robbie in the next few days to have a bit of lunch and chat about it."
The singer said that with the likes of One Direction announcing their own stadium tour for 2014 – he is very keen to follow suit.
"I hope so - I would love to do a stadium tour," he added. "You have to be a certain artist to do it. Robbie has had the most amazing career over the past 20 years, so he has every right to do stadiums."
Olly continued: "One Direction - even though it's been a short career - the success of the guys and how big they are, it's going to be massive.
"I don't think I'm quite ready for it yet, but it's all about progression, and like every artist, I'll just dream and pray I'll get the opportunity."
Meanwhile, Olly has also this week explained why he turned down an offer to return as host of the Xtra Factor in 2013.
The Summertime Ball 2013 takes place live from Wembley Stadium on 9th June with the likes of Taylor Swift, Jessie J and The Wanted also on the line-up.
