Olly Murs And Lawson Wish Students Good Luck With Their GCSE Exam Results Today

'Read All About It' singer Emeli Sande has also issued a good luck message to teens awaiting their results.

Olly Murs and Lawson are just some of the stars who have message their fans across Twitter to wish them luck in their GCSE exam results today.

Sixteen year-olds across the country will be picking up their school exam results this morning (23rd August) and Scottish singer-songwriter Emeli Sande has also posted a best wishes message ahead of the big day.

"Good luck to everyone getting their GCSE's today!!" Olly Murs tweeted this morning. "I remember when I got them… Proper nervous!! Just stay calm.. Whatever happens!! Trust!! X."

The 'Heart Skips A Beat' singer has been working on his third studio album for the past several months, as well as preparing to star on the second series of The Xtra Factor as Caroline Flack's co-host.

'Taking Over Me' four-piece Lawson have also posted messages out to their fans across the country in anticipation of today's big results announcements.

"Good luck to everyone picking up their exam results today! I remember mine, nervous times!" singer Andy Brown tweeted, while drummer Adam Pitts simply posted: "Good luck to everyone getting exam results today!"

Fresh from playing the Olympic Games closing ceremony Scottish star Emeli sent out a message late last night (22nd August) advising her fans to get some sleep before the big day.

She wrote: "Good luck to all you night owls waiting for results! Get some sleep!"

Yesterday marked a big day for Lawson as the 'When She Was Mine' four-piece announced that their debut album will be called 'Chapman Square' and is due to be released on 22nd October.

Lawson are also set to embark on their 'Hometowns Tour' this autumn starting on 31st October at the Liverpool O2 Academy before moving on to shows in Sheffield, Brighton, Nottingham and London.
