The 'Dance With Me Tonight' singer says the two Xtra Factor hosts will be friends for a long time.
Olly Murs has admitted Caroline Flack's mum is keen for the two The Xtra Factor hosts to become an item but says it's unlikely to happen because of their close friendship.
The 'Heart Skips A Beat' singer describes Caroline as a "BFF" but says the 32 year-old presenter's mother has previously told him how good she things they would be as a couple.
"Well I met [Caroline's] mum at The X Factor and she was saying that to me," Olly revealed exclusively to Capital FM this week. "She came down, her mum, and she was like, 'I want you and Caroline to get together'.
"I was like, 'I don't think that's going to happen!'," Olly explained. "We're just really good mates, we get on so well.
"She's a BFF as they say, best friend for life," the 'Oh My Goodness' singer added. "So, we'll be friends for a long time."
The news follows Caroline's recent admission that her mum is set on her and Olly becoming an item.
Olly previously admitted he has a bit of a crush on new The X Factor UK judge Nicole Scherzinger, explaining that he thinks most of the men in Britain would fancy her.
